Our published shipping fees are based on an average of what it actually costs to ship an order. These fees are really an estimate. What you may not know is the following: We weigh each package before we ship it, and if we can ship it for less than our published fee, we will do that and pass that savings on to you. We will never charge you more than the published shipping fees. About half of our orders ship for less than our published shipping fees. We do not charge a "handling fee." Shipping is just that: What it costs to get your order to you the most cost-effective way possible.
We offer FREE shipping on orders of $100.00 or more shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. Some exclusions apply, see below.
The customer is responsible for any additional fees and charges including, but not limited to, taxes, duties, and brokerage fees on orders that ship outside of the United States.
Our standard order processing time is 2 business days, not including the day the order is placed. This does not include transit time. See below for Rush Processing options and Shipping Transit times.
For an additional fee of $3.00, your order will be placed in "Priority Status," with every attempt to process the order the same day it is received if the order is placed before 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. If the order is placed after 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time and the $3.00 fee is paid, every attempt will be made to process the order the next business day. There is no guarantee, and the fee will not be refunded if the order is not processed according to the above parameters. If you choose priority shipping (Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air) Rush Processing will automatically be applied to your order at no additional charge.
Shipping transit days and arrival dates are not guaranteed, only estimates for your convenience.
In no event shall Seymour Midwest LLC be liable for any claim for incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the manufacture, sale, delivery, or use of any product described in the Seymour Midwest LLC catalogs.
The customer must immediately, upon receipt of merchandise, report all claims of loss or damage in shipment directly to Seymour Midwest LLC, with the exception of collect shipments. Any delay may cause you a loss. With your assistance, we will file the necessary claims with the carrier. If the shipment was signed for as complete and undamaged, the claim may be denied by the carrier. Upon receipt of the reimbursement claim from the carrier, a refund or credit memo will be issued. Any shortages on your shipment must be reported within five (5) days of the shipment date for proper verification and possible adjustment. Any delay may cause you a loss.
All requests for returning product must have prior approval by Seymour Midwest LLC. Products returned without a return authorization number (RA#) will not be accepted. Products returned for restocking should be in saleable condition and of the latest design. This includes the condition of the exterior packaging as well as the product. All costs to bring the product to saleable condition, as determined by Seymour Midwest LLC, will be charged back to the customer. A 15% or $10.00 minimum restocking charge will be applied, whichever is greater. All shipping charges will be paid by the customer. No freight collect charges will be accepted.
